50 - 50 Option
We’ve got a shorter group ride planned for Saturday and Sunday this year at a lower cost to make it more affordable and enjoyable for the casual rider. We will leave a little later in the morning around 9:00 am. A lunch will be provided at a mid-way stop. Each day will run about 50 miles. The cost of the ride will be set at $50 each day. It provides a nice option to ride with a group of friends and new friends at a more reasonable pace and a more “reasonable” distance, especially this early in the season.
On Saturday, the group ride will head out to Island Pond, have lunch at Brighton State Park, and return on Route 105.
On Sunday, we will be looking for a nice spot to picnic either on East Hill Road or Vance Hill.
To sign up for one or both days, just register for the particular day(s) and pay $50 or $100 (for two) and send an e-mail to bike@orleansrecreation.org indicating
that you are a 50-50 rider. We hope to see you in 2012.
