The Tour de Kingdom is not a sanctioned race; it is a charity ride through some of the most beautiful countryside in the world. Stop and smell the flowers is the theme of the day. Or take a dip in Willoughby on your way by. But we do offer a “timed event” for those leaving on Saturday and Sunday morning at 7:30 am. The few brave hearts who participated in this aspect of the Tour de Kingdom last year seemed to enjoy it. It’s hard to tell who gets the best of the day, those who speed through or those who stop every now and then to linger and savor some spectacular scenery. But, in response to those who participate in the “timed event” and enjoyed its particular challenge, we have decided to do it again this year and provide a couple of performance prizes offered to the “winners.”
Check out the prize page for a list of performance prizes and pledge prizes gathered to date. We will be adding to the prize list every week until the event itself.
The “timed event” will begin at 7:30 am sharp on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone desiring to participate in the timed event is invited to start at that time. All others, can start anytime from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Support Tables will remain out on the routes until the times listed on the Support Table Page.
