Registration & Information

In order for us to be able to adequately plan and support all routes, we encourage on line registration well in advance of the ride itself.  Also to insure that we can adequately support our riders, we have imposed a cap of 400 riders per day on the weekend and 100 riders on the guided rides on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We are now offering a graduated fee schedule -- with decreasing daily rates, the more days you register for and with lower rates if you register in 2010 with escalating rates after January 1st 2011 and again after May 1st 2011.  We are also discounting seniors, students, and youth.  We have done away with the minimum required “donation.” (Something about a “required” donation just didn’t seem right to us.)  But we are encouraging all riders to review the information about our Healthy Changes Initiative and to invite friends and family to support their ride by making on-line contributions, large and small.  All fees are non-refundable, but if you notify us at least two weeks before the event, we will move your registration to 2012 or to another event in IROC’s Summer Series.  Here’s the newly designed fee structure for the 2011 Tour:

Participants are encouraged to register on line on this website by registering here. Each rider who registers before June 1st will be assured a Tour de Kingdom T-Shirt, late lunch, and our free, internationally acclaimed, fruit smoothies on the day of their ride. This is a charity ride to support IROC’s groundbreaking and highly successful Healthy Changes Initiative for people suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, or heart disease. Prizes are offered for highest pledges raised, largest groups, biggest families, and participants traveling the furthest distance to IROC. Prizes are also offered for the fastest times, men and women, on each of the two days, as well as for the overall winners of both days combined. Please check out our special section Team Challenge.
We are available to work with groups from around the United States and Canada to help arrange package deals for travel, lodging, meals, and entertainment while you are here. Camping will be available at the IROC facility itself. For more information or assistance in making arrangements, please contact us at bike@orleansrecreation.org

Sign In: 6:00 am to 9:30 am each day at IROC. Start time: between 7:30 am and 9:30am each day. Century riders competing for time will leave at 7:30 am sharp each day. Youth riders taking shorter routes are encouraged to leave at 9:00 am. All participants and their families are offered free use of IROC’s facility from Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm through Sunday evening at 7:00 pm, including restrooms, showers, pool, 94 foot waterslide, sports center, and fitness center. All riders and their friends and families are encouraged to bring a bathing suit and towel.
